MAHALO FOR DONATIONS: In addition to Sherwin Williams who donated the paint for the barriers, Home Depot provided $100 for tools and gloves. Trees of Maui and Maryxs Tree Trimming Service have donated several loads of mulch which has been used on the trail beds and in the picnic table area. The owners and Board of Directors at Maui Kamaole, the condominium complex across the street from the Boat Ramp, have made generous donations for materials and supplies. Private donations have also helped greatly for necessary purchases. In addition, we have been able to get supplies from Maui County Parks and Community Work Day Program. A big Mahalo for all the donations! We have needed to purchase trash pick up tools, rakes, shovels, trash containers, gloves, irrigation materials, loppers, saws, quality mulch for the trails and much more. We will also be purchasing native plants for the area. Of course, as we work through the area, tools fail and need replacing.
